Harvard

​Harvard, Massachusetts, is a rural town in Worcester County, approximately 25 miles west-northwest of Boston. Incorporated in 1732, it has a rich history that includes the Harvard Shaker Village and the utopian community Fruitlands. As of January 1, 2007, the population was 5,785, including 212 residents of Devens. The town is renowned for its well-preserved rural character, with over 2,000 acres of conservation land and a picturesque town common that serves as a central meeting point. Notable attractions include the Fruitlands Museum, which preserves the history of the Fruitlands utopian community. ​
